British photographic artist Ripley creates artworks using high-resolution medium-format photography in combination with extensive work in post-production.

Twelve large-scale portraits of The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment.
The pictures, which took several years to create, portray officers and soldiers from The Life Guards and The Blues and Royals mounted on their horses and posed on buildings throughout London.
A boxed-set of the portraits was the official Coronation Present from The Household Cavalry to His Majesty King Charles III, this was presented by Ripley and senior officers from The Household Cavalry to King Charles III at Buckingham Palace on the 15th of June 2023 (view)

Limited edition prints from this new collection are available to purchase and range in size from the original large-scale pieces to smaller-scale prints and a boxed-set which replicates the Coronation gift (visit Gallery 02).
Charity; Ripley donates 30% of sales from this collection to the Household Cavalry Foundation, the Regiments’ official Charity, whose 'Duty Of Care' includes operational casualties, veterans, serving soldiers and their dependents, and the welfare of their retired horses.

Notable equine works include the portrait of ‘Estimate’ which Ripley created for Queen Elizabeth II in 2016, and portraits with ‘Pivotal’, ‘California Chrome’, ‘Big Bucks’, ‘Cracksman’, and the piece ‘Leopard Spotted Horse with Dalmatians in a Landscape’.
